Celebrating 100 Years of Logues Shoes – A Century of Style and Service in Galway

2021 marks a remarkable milestone for Logues Shoes100 years in business and proudly standing as Galway’s oldest family-run shoe shop.

Our story began over a century ago, when Frank and Delia Logue first opened their doors on High Street around 1912. From these humble beginnings, their dream took root during some of Ireland’s most challenging and uncertain times. Their dedication, resilience, and strong work ethic laid the foundation for what would become a cornerstone of Galway’s retail landscape.

In 1921, Frank and Delia made a bold and visionary move – purchasing Roche’s Bar in Eyre Square, transforming it into the home of Logues Shoes. And remarkably, that’s where you’ll still find us today – at the heart of the city, serving generations of loyal customers.

Over the past 100 years, fashion has changed, trends have come and gone, but our commitment to quality, service, and family values has remained constant.

Today, Logues Shoes is proudly in its third generation of family ownership. With decades of experience passed down and built upon, the current generation – along with our dedicated and knowledgeable staff – continues to deliver exceptional service to meet all your footwear needs.

From classic styles to the latest trends, whether it’s casual comfort or special occasion elegance, we’re here to help you put your best foot forward.

As we celebrate this incredible centenary, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the people of Galway and beyond – our customers, our community, and our team – for your loyalty and support over the decades.

Here’s to the next 100 years!
